My name is Jessica Dwyer. I was born in Brooklyn, New York but moved to Connecticut when I was a toddler. When I turned ten I moved back to Brooklyn and have lived here ever since. I lived in Marine Park until this past year when I relocated to Bensonhurst. I attended P.S.206 in Gravesend and graduated from James Madison High School. After high school I knew I wanted to work with children, where I attended Brooklyn College for my undergrad where I majored in Early Childhood Education (B-2nd grade). After my undergrad, I continued my education at Touro College where I received my Master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education (B-2nd grade).
I have many years of experience working with children. I worked in afterschool programs, summer camps, and early childhood centers in different schools around New York City. This fall I will begin my 2nd year as the UPK teacher at Good Shepherd Catholic Academy.
